Enriched Air (Nitrox)
Enriched Air (Nitrox) - Estimated: 1-2-Days
Expand your diving skills, decrease the risk of DCS and extend your bottom time with our Nitrox course. This course may also be taken at the same time as you study for the PADI AOW course. The first step into TEC diving and available in Jordan at SeaStar Watersports.

Digital Underwater Photography
Digital Underwater Photography -- Estimated: 2 Days
You take pictures on land.. so why not underwater. It is even easier now with digital cameras and PADI have the specialty to perfect your skills., whether you use a “point and shoot” camera, or a more sophisticated digital SLR, What you will learn on the course: The three primary principles for good underwater photography The PADI “SEA” method for getting great shots How to choose the right underwater camera system for the photos you want to take. So take the course and start reliving you your underwater adventures… And best of all... you may be able to earn College Credits.

Drift Diver
Drift Diver -- Estimated: 2-3 Days
Drift Diving is a specialised skill working with the theory that if you can't swim against a current, you can drift with it. This specialty course teaches you techniques to use the current to your advantage. Advantages to learning correct drift diving techniques mean you will be able to visit previously inaccessible dive sites, you will be able to travel much further and cover more area with minimal effort, as the current will do the "swimming" for you.
Reef Diver
Scuba Diver (SD) -- Estimated: 1+ Days
Understand more about the marine environment and ways in which we need to protect this natural habitat. Aqaba provides a unique opportunity, as there are some of the finest soft and hard water corals to be found anywhere in the world, with many indigenous and unique species.
Equipment Specialist
Equipment Specialist -- Estimated 1+ Days
Part of your development as a safe and responsible diver is understanding the proper care and usage of all your diving equipment. This specialty course will instruct you how and why your equipment functions as it does, and how to properly care for it. After investing so much in your dive kit, it's certainly worth investing in this course to ensure the wellbeing and safety of both you and your equipment. Remember that servicing of equipment is a professional job and should be undertaken only by qualified personnel. This course is not a treatise on equipment servicing.
Multilevel Diver
Multilevel Diver -- Estimated: 2 Days
Multilevel diving is a technique used for diving on different levels. Whereas previously diving time was restricted to the no-decompression limit reached at the deepest depth of a dive, advances in decompression theory now make it possible to gain longer decompression time by starting at the deepest part of the dive and gradually moving to shallower depths. This specialty course will instruct you in all aspects of planning and completing a multilevel dive.
Night Diver
Night Diver -- Estimated 3 Days
Visiting a favourite dive site at night is like visiting a new dive site. A site visited at night time presents a spectrum of different underwater life and colours. When the sun goes down, nocturnal animals such as lobsters and catfish become active and coral polyps, closed during the day, open at night for feeding. Add another dimension to your diving pleasure by completing the PADI Night Diver specialty course.

Peak Performance Buoyancy
Peak Performance Buoyancy -- Estimated 2 Days
Fine tune your buoyancy skills to optimum level with this specialty. Teaching you further skills to enhance what you already know about buoyancy, this course will have you diving effortlessly with full control over your buoyancy.

Search and Recovery Diver
Search and Recovery Diver -- Estimated 3 Days
Use your Search and Rescue skills to locate that underwater treasure! Not quite, but completing a Search and Recovery specialty course means that you will be able to find and recover a lost object, whether that means a pair of sunglasses dropped overboard or your fin lost in the surf. Setting out to find and recover a lost object - and succeeding - is a very gratifying experience (not to mention cheaper than paying for a new pair of fins!)

Underwater Naturalist
Underwater Naturalist -- Estimated 1 Day
The PADI Underwater Naturalist specialty course teaches the diver about the underwater ecology and the life forms that reside within it. After completing the course, you'll understand more about the organisms you see while diving and learn about their forms and behaviour. This course will also teach you about how you, as a responsible diver, fit into this ecosystem.
Underwater Navigator
Underwater Navigator -- Estimated 2 Days
Successful underwater navigation is a diving fundamental, as the ability to find your direction and determine your location is important on any dive. Developing and practicing your underwater navigation skills makes you a responsible and safer diver and will increase your diving pleasure by reducing any disorientation, avoiding long surface swims, conserving air and decreasing the possibility of losing your buddy. It also vastly increases the effectiveness of your dive planning.

Wreck Diver
Wreck Diver -- Estimated 3 Days
Perhaps one of the popular diving pursuits, wreck diving epitomizes the drama of man's loss & nature's gain. Exploring a wreck is exciting, an adventure into the unknown. As wreck diving presents different hazards & considerations there are certain skills that must be learned before you can safely dive in these environments.
