 You Are Never Too Old to Learn
Seastar has just recently certified their oldest PADI Open Water Diver.. Jean Lurenbaum 31 Dec 1933. With 2 of his sons diving, one a Divemaster and his Daughter-in-Law also a Rescue diver. He could not let the young ones have all the fun. So this November instead of babysitting the grandson, he decided he would take to the water and see what he had been missing all these past years.
Who ever said You can't teach an old dog new tricks, has not met Jean. Like a duck to water...
He promises to keep on diving when he returns to France, but maybe not until the summer months...

Fitness First Gyms partners with Seastar Watersports to offer PADI lessons in Aqaba!
The first SCUBA Event of Fitness First Gym (Abdoun) was a great success, even though by the end of it Seastar’s instructor was looking rather water logged and wrinkled after 3 hrs in the pool. But it certainly gave numerous Fitness First members the chance to take a Dip and Breathe underwater
For everyone it was an exhilarating experience, in the safe confines of the pool. Now, the next step is to continue and become a PADI Scuba Diver. Several members have already signed up for the next course (among the coral reefs), and we're expecting there will be more. Interested in joining us?
