Charlotte Goossens. She also has been working in Thailand Malaysia for the past 2 years and with her language skills (English, Flemish and French) will be added value to those eager to have a dive brief or their dive course in their own language. So much better than "hand signals only..."
Zak Dahliz joined Seastar October 2009 as a Divemaster. He has extensive knowledge of Aqaba's reefs and is a valuable asset to our dive team, having learned to dive here in Aqaba.
Renske Lauterbach.Joined us to complete her DM and then continued on to Ass. Instructor. She also has good language skills, (Dutch, German, English, French) so generally gives the dive briefings. She certainly has some unique hand signals for the various forms of marine life you will encounter in Aqaba, from the Good to the Bad and to the downright Ugly! She is now working on a part-time basis and helps out at weekends and holidays.
Lana joined Seastar in November 2008 as a Dive master. She is an enthusiastic diver and eager to point out all the wonderful, beautiful and occasionally weird varieties of marine life seen on Aqabacoral reefs.
Gill Balchin. A lot of the hard work and long hours behind the scenes is where you will find Gill, running Seastar and its associated partner Above and Below Adventures. She has been in Aqaba since 1979 and has been involved with Seastar from its inception in 1988. She sees the divers off in the morning and then returns to her Troglodyte existence answering any contacts by e-mail or fax. This photo proves that she does dive... although in recent years she has not had the time!
