A Typical Day at SeaStar
Our day starts with pickups from the hotels of Aqaba and Tala Bay. An Aqaba hotel pick up is 9am, Tala Bay hotels is
9:30am. We then reach the club and start with the necessary paperwork, checking certifications and putting a plan together for the dive sites to suit everyone’s interests and experience level.
We then move down to the dive centre area and kit up ready for the dive. In the centre we have changing rooms with
toilets, hot water showers and lockers. As well as secure equipment cages to store your gear between dives. Our dive
masters and instructors give detailed briefings using maps of the dive sites before heading to the water. You then head
out to the bus for dive sites further down the coast or gear up and walk down to one of our House Reefs.
At 11-11:30 am we return to the club with the chance for you to change and take a shower before relaxing around the pool area
and enjoying some lunch available from our restaurant. They serve hot food all day from the menu, or for large groups we can arrange an open buffet for a set time between the dives. Our large pool area with sun beds is a great place to catch some rays, or catch up on your studying if you are doing a course. But if you are looking for something a bit more energetic, you can go for a snorkel or even squeeze in another dive!

2pm sees the start off our afternoon diving. We always make sure that the divers go to a site that interests them and is suitable for their experience level. We also try to send divers to a different site for every dive, unless of course they wish to return to a site they have already seen! Another rule is we aim to keep the dive groups as small as possible to ensure you actually get to see the marine life and not just diver soup!
After the dive again we return to the centre, to shower, change and store away the kit ready for the next day. Then you have a chance to enjoy a beautiful Red Sea sunset from our terrace, while enjoying a cool beer, or a more traditional sweet tea or Turkish coffee, before the bus takes you back to your hotel.
